Nancy Labib

Dr. Nancy Badr Eldin Labib Mahmoud is a distinguished psychiatrist with a long-standing commitment to mental health and wellness. She has built an impressive career grounded in academic excellence and hands-on clinical experience.

Her journey began by studying medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University. She earned her Master’s degree in Neuropsychiatry from Ain Shams University in 2009, where she developed a strong foundation in neuropsychiatric care. Driven by a passion for understanding the human mind. She trained as a third doctor at the teaching hospital of MUST ( Misr University for Science and Technology) then after successfully obtaining her masters degree got promoted to being specialist of neuropsychiatry.

She pursued advanced psychotherapy courses, including Introduction to Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Object Relations, and Couple Counseling from Malachite Institute. Additionally, she completed a Positive Psychology online course, earned a Diploma in Group Therapy from (EAGT), and a Diploma in Emotionally Focused Couple Counseling from (ICEFT).

Dr. Nancy’s early career was marked by her dedication to clinical practice. She held the position of Senior Psychiatrist at (City Clinic), where she managed a wide range of psychiatric cases. Her expertise and compassionate care led her to head the Mental Health Division at (Revive Medical Center), where she focused on holistic mental health support for her patients.

Dr. Nancy has also been actively involved with various organizations, including the PHASE Organization, where she provided psychiatric counseling to both adults and children, Psychological first aid training to GIZ organization ,Trauma first aid for Alwaha organization and Women mental health in TMG event of wellness journey . She also worked with international organizations such as Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), where she led emotional support groups and facilitated therapeutic workshops to help individuals cope with trauma and life challenges. She has also made contributions to international organizations such as Special Olympics, where she currently holds the position of Clinical Director for Special Olympics in Egypt.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Nancy is an active member of several professional associations, including the International Association of Group Therapy (IAGP), the World Psychiatric Association (WPA) in the Women’s Mental Health Section, the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEFT), the Egyptian Psychiatric Association (EPA), and the Egyptian Association of Group Therapy (EAGT). She is also a member of EGYCEFT and serves as an editor for the Journal of Psychology and Neuroscience.

Currently, Dr. Nancy brings her wealth of experience to Speak Clinic, where she is the founder and medical director.
